Nosto is a personalization and product recommendation platform that helps Shopify merchants increase conversions by delivering tailored product suggestions based on customer behavior.
With Shopney, you can integrate Nosto into your mobile app to display personalized recommendations on your product and cart pages, improving engagement and creating more cross-sell opportunities.

Steps to enable Nosto integration
1- Access the Nosto app
In your Shopify Dashboard, click on the Apps (1) tab and select Nosto (2).
2- Copy the Token Secret
In the Nosto Dashboard, click on Settings (1) in the top right corner and select Account Settings (2).
On the opened page, click on Authentication tokens (1) from the left menu and click Decrypt (2).
Copy the Token Secret and keep it ready to use in your Shopney dashboard.
3- Access the Integrations section
In your Shopney dashboard, go to the Integrations section (1). Then, click on Nosto(2).
4- Paste the Token Secret and configure the integration
Paste the Token Secret into the relevant field in the Nosto integration panel (1). Then, choose how product recommendations will be displayed on the Cart and Product Detail pages (2).
Options like Related Products and Bestseller will automatically suggest products based on Nosto’s logic.
5- Set up custom rules (Optional)
If you select the Custom option, you’ll need to enter a Slot ID from your Nosto dashboard.
Each widget you create in Nosto corresponds to a custom recommendation type in Shopney. For mobile apps, copy the Slot ID from the relevant section in Nosto and paste it into the Slot ID field in Shopney.

With custom rules, you can show more relevant product recommendations based on cart content, total value, or specific products. For example, show complementary items when a product is added to the cart or trigger recommendations when a certain order amount is reached. 6 - Enable the integration
Once you’re done configuring the integration settings. Click the Enable toggle (1) and click Save Changes (2) to activate the integration.
7- Enable recommendation widgets in your app
To display product recommendations on your product pages, go to Design > Customization (1) in your Shopney dashboard and enable the Show Recommended Products setting (2).
To display product recommendations on your cart page, enable the Enable Cross-Sell Widget feature under Cart Page(1) and select Product Recommendation (2).
That’s it! Once you complete these steps, the Nosto integration will be active in your Shopney app, helping you deliver personalized product recommendations and boost conversions.
