How the Cross-sell Widget Will Look to Users
Once your cross-sell settings are configured and saved, the products will be displayed on the Cart Page of your mobile app. In the image below, you can see the different states of the cross-sell widget on the cart page.
How to Enable the Cross-Sell Widget?
1- Go to the Customization section
In your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design tab (1) and select the fourth option from the left-hand menu to open the Customization section (2). Scroll down and under the Cart Page (3), you will see the Cross-sell Widget. Switch the toggle to enable it (4).
2- Select Which Options to Display for Cross-selling
After enabling the feature, you can choose one or all of the different options below to display your products on the cart screen for cross-selling.
Featured collection: This can be any collection you want to feature. The best practice for this option is to create a separate collection of best-selling products for this widget.
Wishlist: Those are your customers' favored products that they have added to their wishlist.
Recently viewed: The products that were recently viewed by the customer in the app session.
Show Only When the Cart is Empty: This option allows you to display cross-sell widgets depending on the cart screen situation. When the switch is turned on, the widget will be visible only when the cart is empty. Otherwise, it will be shown both when the cart is empty and when some items are in it.
3- Save Changes
Donāt forget to click on Save & Update to make sure that the edits and changes you made reflect on the app.
