Learn how to target specific groups of customers using your mobile app’s push notifications

Push notifications are most effective when they reach the right people with the right message, and Audience Targeting does just that by allowing you to send messages to specific user groups instead of all app users.

This gives you more control over who sees each notification, helping you deliver messages that are more relevant, timely, and effective. By reaching the right audience, you can improve engagement and make your push notifications more impactful.

With targeted push notifications, you can also:

  • Increase conversion rates by sending the right notification based on user behavior, such as active, inactive, or new users.

  • Re-engage users who are drifting away by reaching out to inactive users or at-risk segments before you lose them.

  • Avoid notification fatigue by not over-notifying loyal or active users with messages that aren't meant for them.

  • Personalize your campaigns based on behavior, platform, or login status, so your messaging feels relevant rather than generic.

  • Create more strategic marketing flows by targeting high-value users or users who haven’t made a purchase yet.

Let’s go through the 5 simple steps to set up and send these targeted push notifications!
