Your success in app commerce is directly related to the user-friendliness, merchandising and overall design of your mobile app. Having multiple showcases in your mobile app will open new horizons in all areas mentioned above.

What is multiple showcase and the benefit of it?

As name indicates, multiple showcase is having more than one mobile app showcase (main page) with different concepts. The main benefits of it are as following:

1. Enhanced UX and Intuitive Browsing: Since each showcase focuses on a specific concept or category, users can access the content they want easier. So they can see more of your products in a given session. This optimized shopping processes will result more satisfied customers and more sales.

2. Merchandising: Businesses can use different showcases to highlight different product merchandising sets or special campaigns (i.e. special days). This allows users to focus more carefully on specific campaigns or new collections when they browse. So, you can communicate your products and brand better to convert more.

3. Design: Multiple showcase gives you more space to reflect your brand and show more of it. It allows you to deepen your mobile app design by individual showcases dedicated to a theme, without no boundaries.

  • Available Plans: This feature is available in Platinum Plan with up to 3 different showcases, and Enterprise Plan with up to 5 different showcases.

Steps to follow to start multiple Showcase

1. Creating a showcase from scratch

This is the option you want to go with when you need to design a fresh showcase from to to bottom. And, here is how you go about it as following.

Navigate to Shopney Design Dashboard > Showcase and click on the create showcase button.

Enter the name of the new showcase you will create and click 'Done'.

Start organizing your showcase by adding design elements at your taste.

2. Creating a group from existing showcases

This is the option when you want to use existing showcases as a multiple showcase group.
โ€‹
Click on the Create showcase button and select 'Group existing ones'. Add the showcases you want to include in the group as shown.

Quick note: When all your design processes are completed, do not forget to transfer the status of your showcases from draft to live. Otherwise, the showcases in 'draft' status won't be visible on your mobile app.

The below image shows what your grouped showcases will look like.

You have one last step left to display a showcase group on the mobile app. Go to the menu and click on the showcase element. Select your group from the 'Linked Showcase' section. So your group of showcases will be visible on your mobile app and reachable via the menu.

3. Scheduling a showcase for later

You can schedule a showcase to be displayed later. For example, you want to create a dedicated showcase for BFCM offers. You can create it early on and schedule it for display in the BFCM period.

  • Available Plans: Showcase scheduling feature is available only on Enterprise Plan.

When you click on Edit showcase button (pen icon), you will open the below popup.

Click on 'Change' button under status section and schedule the showcase for whenever you want as shown.
