In today's fast-paced eCommerce world, the collections, campaigns and the store content around them should change frequently. Keeping your mobile app content (design) fresh and aligned with your inventory turnover and promotional agenda is very important.

But we know that it might not be easy to for every merchant to hop into Shopney dashboard update the content once at a time. Especially, if you run an enterprise-level Shopify store which has new collections and campaigns coming in on a regular basis. Therefore, we created scheduled design elements.

How does scheduled design elements work?

Scheduled design elements feature allows you to create new versions of your app layout and schedule them for release in advance. It is very useful if you frequently change your mobile app design or have a marketing campaign for a product or collection release.

For example, you can put a countdown banner set to finish in the moment that your scheduled element goes live with new products or collections. You can plan these all at once effortlessly. They will get published and/or unpublished when you want.

  • Available Plans: This feature is available in Platinum Plan and above.

Steps to follow to schedule the elements

1. Go to Shopney dashboard and drop any design element you want to schedule to your mobile app design.

2. Once you drop the element, you will see the 'Schedule' toggle on top the element configuration menu as designated (red frame) in below image. Switch the toggle on to activate the feature for that element.

3. Once you activate, you will see the publish date settings. Select the date you want the element go live. You can also set a certain date to unpublish back the element.

The schedule-enabled elements will appear on the dashboard with relevant badges as 'Live', 'Scheduled' and 'Expired' as shown in below example.

Important Note: These badges will not be visible in your mobile app.

4. When you are done with your dates, click ''Save & Update'' button to finish.
