If you no longer have access to your Android keystore files from your previous developer or app builder, you don’t need to worry. Google allows you to reset your Android keys, and Shopney will guide you through the process step by step.

This ensures your app can continue to receive updates and remain live on the Google Play Store without disruption.

Resetting your Android keys is important because it allows you to:

  • Keep your app updates flowing –Without resetting your keys, Shopney cannot submit your app as an update to the existing one. This means your current users would lose access. Resetting your Android keys ensures your Shopney app is published as an update, so your customers simply update their app instead of starting over.

  • Stay in control of your app – Resetting your keys ensures you’re not dependent on a previous developer or app builder.

  • Protect your business continuity – Having updated keys avoids delays or downtime that could affect your app’s availability and your customers’ experience.

Let’s go through how you can reset your Android keys in a few simple steps.
