Enabling Langify integration is a piece of cake. However, we made it even easier for you with this step-by-step guide.
Once you complete the mentioned steps, Langify will become functional on your Shopney mobile app and your customers will be able to your mobile app content in their own language. Please follow the steps below to make it happen.
Steps To Follow To Enable The Langify Integration
1. Make sure Langify is already installed to your store and functioning well to enable the integration.
2. Go to the Integrations section of Shopney dashboard and select Langify as shown.
3. Click on the 'Enable' switch (1) to turn it on in the popup page. Then, click on the 'Save Changes' button (2).
4. Once you 'enable and save' the integration, you will see a new two sections.
You will see the general information about the published and unpublished languages in the upper section (1). The information about the languages in this section is provided by Shopify itself.
So, if you want to publish or unpublish a language, you cannot do it on Shopney dashboard. Instead, you will need to navigate to Shopify Admin dashboard and arrange it there.
In the lower section (2), you will see the button for the 'Mobile App Translation Manager'. This is where you will manage the translation process of the mobile app content.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The translation of the content that are provided by your Shopify store as products, collections and pages will be visible on mobile app. Those are managed by Langify itself. This integration doesn't automatically translate the entire mobile app content. The content you create on Shopney dashboard will need to be translated in Mobile App Translation Manager section by yourself. Here are the types of contents created on Shopney dashboard:
Titles of Showcase Elements
Titles of Menu Elements
Titles of Quick Actions
Title of More Element
Title of Enable Discount
Titles of Configure Collections
5. When you click on the 'Mobile App Translation Manager' button, it will open another popup, in which you will put the translations for different languages.
As default, you will see all the words to be translated together in a list form (3) . If you want to simplify it, you can use filters in the section (1). You can also use the field filters in the section (2) which indicate where a specific word is used in your mobile app.
6. Once you click on a word from the list, it will expand and show you the blanks to fill for each language with translated words as shown below.
Once, you fill the blanks with the translations of each word, you can click on ''DONE'' button on the top right and complete the process.
Congratulations! You have completed the initial enablement process.
How To Manage The Translation of Newly Added Content Easily?
If you add new content to your mobile app, it also need to be translated. But you don't have to go back to Langify integration section to do so.
We made it easy for you! You can add a new content on Shopney's design dashboard and put the translations of the content while you are still on the design section. All you need is to click on designated button next to the text area.
It will open the Mobile App Translation Manager and you can easily put the translations in for the given word.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to disable the integration for a reason, you will have two options to save the disablement situation as you see below.
If you select 'Save & Clear Data', the words translated by you will be cleared and lost. If you go with 'Save Changes' option, they will remain as they are.
