Sub-collections help you structure your mobile app’s navigation by grouping related products under main collections. With Shopney’s Design Editor, you can create sub-collections to improve the shopping experience, making it easier for customers to find what they’re looking for.
Whether you want to categorize products by type, style, or season, sub-collections offer a simple way to keep your store organized. By using sub-collections effectively in your app, you can:

Let’s go through the 5 easy steps for setting up sub-collections.
Step-by-Step Guide on How to Set Up Sub-Collections
1- Navigate to the Menu Section
In your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design section first, and click on the Menu tab.
2- Add the Sub-Collection Menu Element
In the left-hand side menu, drag and drop the Sub-Collections element onto your app’s menu, and save the changes.
3- Adjust the Sub-Collection Menu Element
Click on the Sub-Collection element in your app’s menu, then customize it using the right-hand side menu. You can rename it, adjust its alignment, and choose an icon—either from our selection or by uploading a custom one!
4- Customize the Sub-Collection
In the right-hand side menu, click the Customize Sub-Collection button and select the collections you want to add from the opened panel. Drag collections onto each other to create sub-collections, and rearrange their order by dragging and dropping them onto the highlighted light grey line. Once you’re finished with customizing the sub-collection, click Done.

You can create sub-collections within sub-collections and upload custom images by clicking the mountain icon, allowing for greater flexibility in organizing and showcasing your products. |
5- Change the Display Type of the Sub-Collection
In the right-hand side menu, you can change the Display Type of sub-collections, each offering a unique look. Type 1, Type 2, and Type 4 require collection images, while Type 3 does not, displaying only the title in the center if no images are available.
