Detailed explanation of the Quick Actions feature of Shopney mobile app

Quick Actions are always-visible elements that let your customers take a specific action with just one click, such as reaching out to you via WhatsApp or going straight to your Instagram page. They make it easy for your customers to reach out to you anytime through the action you've set.

You can choose 2 of any Quick Actions you want, and you'll find them displayed at the bottom of the Menu section.

Let’s go through the 2 easy steps on how to add Quick Actions to your Menu and walk through each of the quick action options you can add to your mobile app!


How to add Quick Actions to your mobile app?

1- Navigate to the Menu Section

On your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design section and click on the Menu tab.

2- Choose Quick Actions

On the Menu page, click on the Quick Actions tab, enable, and choose 2 of the Quick Action options that you wish.

All done! Once you set up the quick actions, they will be shown at the bottom of your mobile app’s menu, and your app users will be able to take the action you want them to take in one click only!


What are all the available Quick Actions options?

1. PHONE CALL

With the Phone Call quick action, customers from anywhere in the world can reach you using the phone number you've provided.

💡 Tip

Make sure to include the area or country code so customers worldwide can reach you via the Phone Call quick action.

2. SEND E-MAIL

If you want customers to contact you via email, use the Send Email quick action. It lets them quickly send an email to the address you’ve provided.

3. FACEBOOK PAGE

To promote your Facebook page and gain more followers, simply choose the Facebook Page quick action and add your Facebook page’s URL.

4. TWITTER ACCOUNT

To promote your Twitter account and increase your followers, simply select the Twitter Account quick action and enter your Twitter profile URL.

5. DIRECTIONS

You can share your location with your customers by entering your latitude and longitude coordinates.

6. WHATSAPP

By entering your WhatsApp phone number with the area or country code, users will be able to start a chat with you on WhatsApp with just one click.

7. INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT

To promote your Instagram page and grow your followers, simply select the Instagram quick action and enter your Instagram account’s URL, it will direct your customers to your Instagram page with one click.

8. FACEBOOK MESSENGER

You can let your customers start a Facebook chat with you instantly by entering your Facebook Messenger URL.

9. APPLE BUSINESS CHAT

You can enter your Apple Business Chat URL to allow iPhone users to message you directly.

📌 Important Note

This quick action is only visible on iOS devices. Android users will not see this option.

10. WEB URL

You can enter the web address you want to direct users to. With one click, they'll be taken to the linked site.

11. IN-APP MESSAGES

This quick action lets your users contact you via Shopney’s in-app messaging. If you prefer to chat within the app, this option is for you.


How to rename the Quick Actions?

The names of all quick actions are fully editable! For example, you can rename the Instagram Account action to something like Follow Us on Instagram. Similarly, the Send Email action can be shortened to simply Email as well.

All you have to do is type the name you want under the Name section (1) for the related Quick Action and then click on the Save & Update button (2) to save the changes.

🔔 Reminder

You can display up to two quick actions at the same time, and you can disable them at any time if needed.
