Subscription integrations let you offer recurring purchases, so customers can subscribe and receive products automatically. They help you automate billing, manage subscriptions easily, and create a steady revenue stream. By enabling them in your app, you can:
• Boost recurring revenue with automatic repeat orders
• Improve retention with flexible subscription plans
• Enhance shopping experience with easy reordering
• Increase customer lifetime value through ongoing relationships
• Offer both one-time and subscription purchase options
Let’s go over which subscription apps are supported, how to enable them, and what the integration will look like in your mobile app!
📌 Important Note
For the subscription integrations to work, please ensure that the subscription app is already installed to your store and working as intended.
How to Enable Subscription Integrations
1- Navigate to the Integrations Section
In your Shopney dashboard, go to the Integrations section. From the Integrations section, click on the subscription app you’d like to activate the integration for.
2- Configure Settings and Enable the Integration
From the opened panel, you can enable the discount badge to appear above the subscription options (1). To activate the subscription integration, switch on the Enable toggle (2) and click Save Changes (3).
That’s it, you’ve successfully enabled the subscription integration for your mobile app! Now, let’s take a look at how the subscription options appear and function within your app.
💡 Tip
You can highlight subscription products on collection pages and the homepage using the Badges & Labels feature. For more details, please refer to the dedicated guide here.
How Subscription Integrations Appear in Your App
Once you enable the subscription integration, the Subscribe and Save button will appear on product pages for eligible items (1). When your customer clicks Subscribe or Add to Cart, a panel will open with options for a one-time purchase (2) or a subscription (3). After making a selection, the cart page will be displayed with the relevant subscription details (4).
Additionally, you can highlight special subscription deals by enabling the Display Discount Badge setting, which shows the discount percentage above the purchase options. This makes savings more visible, attracts attention, and encourages recurring purchases. Here’s a comparison on how purchase options appear when the setting is disabled (1) or enabled (2).
