Subscription integrations allow customers to subscribe for automatic deliveries while helping you automate billing, offer flexible payment options, and maintain steady revenue on your mobile app. While easy to set up and use, minor issues may occasionally arise. In this article, we’ll cover the most common problems and how to prevent them, ensuring a smooth experience and continued benefits from recurring purchases.
Let’s go over the 3 most commonly encountered issues with subscription integrations and how to solve them!
1. I Can’t See the Subscription Options for the Product
If you don’t see subscription options for a product, it’s likely due to one of two reasons:
1. The subscription integration hasn’t been enabled in your Shopney Dashboard.

2. The product doesn’t have a subscription set under purchase options in Shopify product settings.
Each product must have a subscription option assigned on Shopify dashboard to appear correctly in the app. To check this, please go to your Shopify Admin Page → Products → Select the related product, and check under the Purchase Options section.
2. I Can’t See the Discount Badge Options for the Product
If you can’t see the discount badge on your products, it is likely because the feature is not enabled in your Shopney Dashboard.
To resolve this, please go to the Shopney Dashboard and make sure the Display Discount Badge switch is turned on. Once enabled, the discount badges should appear correctly in your app.
3. I Can’t See the One-Time Purchase Option for the Product
If you cannot see the One-Time Purchase option for a product, it is likely due to the product's subscription settings in Shopify.
To check and fix this, go to your Shopify Admin Page → Products → select the related product. Scroll down to the Purchase Options section, look for the checkbox that says “Only sell this product as a subscription.” Once you disable this checkbox and save the changes, the One-Time Purchase option should be visible in your app.
