The Apple App Store and Google Play Developer accounts allow you to publish your app on their respective platforms, making it accessible to iOS and Android users. To ensure the smooth management of your app updates and releases, granting Shopney admin access to your Developer Accounts is essential. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to provide admin access for both Apple Developer and Google Play Developer Accounts.
Let’s start with Apple Developer Accounts, followed by Google Play Developer Accounts.
Granting Admin Access to Your Apple Developer Account
1- Sign in to App Store Connect and go to the account section.
2- Select "Users and Access" in the menu, then click the blue "+" button on the next page.
3- A window titled "New User" will appear. Please fill it with the following information and click on the "Invite" button.
First Name: Shopney
Last Name: Team
Email: [email protected]
4- Additionally, check for Pending Agreements. There should be no pending agreements on your Apple Developer account, as they prevent us from submitting or updating your app. The latest Apple license agreement must be accepted before we can proceed.
To accept Apple’s newest license agreement, you simply need to sign in here and once you do, you should see a banner at the top regarding the agreement. If you don’t see the banner, go directly to the Agreements, Tax, and Banking section of your Apple Developer account.
Click View and Agree to Terms to review and accept the agreement.
This is also something we recommend keeping an eye on in the future, as Apple may periodically release new agreements that need to be accepted in order for us to carry out maintenance updates without delays.
Granting Admin Access to Your Google Play Developer Account
1- Go to https://play.google.com/console/signup and sign in with your Gmail account.
2- Click on the "Users and permissions" button in the left panel.
3- On the following page, click the “Invite new users” button highlighted in red.
4- Start by entering [email protected] in the “Email address” field, click on the “Account permissions” section, and select the “Admin (all permissions)” checkbox. Finally, double-check the email address you’ve entered, make sure you’ve provided Admin Access, and click the “Invite User” button located at the bottom right.
All done!
🛎️ Reminder
Occasionally, you may see a warning pop-up on your Shopney homepage dashboard. This is because, during regular maintenance or necessary updates to keep your app up-to-date, we’ve found that Shopney does not have Admin access to your Apple or Google Developer Accounts. This could happen if Admin access was never granted or was revoked at a later time.
Without this access, we cannot proceed with essential updates for your app. If you encounter this warning, please follow the steps outlined above to grant Admin access to your Developer Accounts. This will ensure uninterrupted updates and maintenance for your app. |
