Free Shipping Bar is a feature that lets you show your customers how much more they need to spend or how many more items they need to add to their cart to qualify for free shipping. The bar automatically updates as customers add, remove, or change the quantity of products in their cart.
With the Free Shipping Bar feature, you can:
Encourage your customers to add more products by showing how close they are to free shipping
Increase average order value by showing the free shipping threshold at the right moment
Create different free shipping goals based on cart value or item quantity
Target the bar to specific customers or shopping conditions
Customize the bar's messages, position, and appearance to match your store
Let's go through how the Free Shipping Bar will look on your app, and how to activate it in just 4 steps on your dashboard!
How the Free Shipping Bar Will Look to Users
Once you configure and save your bar settings, the Free Shipping Bar will appear on the Cart Page of your mobile app. A progress bar, based on item quantity or cart value, will also show the customer's progress toward the free shipping goal.
As your customers add products to their cart, the progress bar fills up, and the remaining amount automatically decreases.
How to Enable the Free Shipping Bar?
1- Go to the Customization section
In your dashboard, from the Design page (1), open the Customization section (2) and then look and scroll down until you see Enable Free Shipping Bar (3), after you enable it, you can click on Configure (4).
2- Create New Bar
On the appearing window, click on Add New to create a new bar. Please note that you can later edit, copy, or delete created bars from this area.
3- Configure Your Bar Settings
Here you can configure various settings to control how your bar appears on the cart screen. You'll see three sections: Display Conditions (1) and Bar Customization (2) plus a live Preview panel (3) on the right where you can check your changes before clicking on Save.
Display Conditions: Control who sees the bar using rules based on country, customer info, authentication status, or cart details. Choose No conditions, All conditions, or Any condition, then click Add another condition to add rules like Country is equal to United States.
Bar Customization:
Progress Based On: Cart Value or Item Quantity
Threshold: You can enter your goal cart amount or item number here. When entering a cart value, your goal amount in your store's currency (e.g., 500 USD), converts automatically for other currencies
Progress Message: Shown before the goal is reached, e.g. "You are {{remaining_amount}} away from free shipping." Use + Dynamic Value to insert live dynamic values.
Success Message: Shown once the goal is reached, e.g. "đ You've unlocked free shipping!"
Position: Top (above cart items) or Bottom (near checkout button)
Behavior: Sticky (stays in place) or Scrollable (moves with content)
Colors: you can pick colors for the Background, Text, and Progress Bar
As you adjust these settings, use the Preview panel on the right to check both the Progress and Success states on a live phone mockup before saving.
4- Save Changes
After completing the configuration, click on Save & Update to make sure that the edits and changes you made reflect on the app.
