Having Issues with Growave Wishlist Integration?

Learn common Growave Wishlist integration issues, how to resolve them, and keep your wishlist experience running smoothly.

Written by Lara Soley

Growave Wishlist integration allows your customers to save their favorite products and access them later from your mobile app. While the setup is straightforward, you may occasionally run into minor issues that affect how the integration functions.

In this article, we’ll go over the most common problems and their solutions, so your customers can continue enjoying a seamless wishlist experience.

Let’s go over the 6 most commonly encountered issues with Growave Wishlist integration and how to solve them!

1. Growave Wishlist Cannot Be Enabled

If Growave Wishlist isn’t showing in your Shopney app after the integration setup, it’s usually because the API Key or API Secret (4) wasn’t entered correctly during the integration setup.

To fix this, copy both values directly from your Growave Loyalty & Wishlist admin panel and paste them accurately into the Shopney dashboard with the help of the guide here.

2. Guest Users Cannot Add Products to Wishlist

If guest users are directed to log in when they try to add products to the wishlist, it’s usually because the Allow Guest Wishlist setting is disabled.

To fix this, go to Growave Wishlist in the Integrations section of the Shopney Dashboard, and check the Allow Guest Wishlist setting.

3. Wishlist Items Are Not Visible After Login

If customers cannot see their wishlist items after logging in, they may have added those products to their wishlist before logging in as a guest.

Ask the customer to reopen the Wishlist screen after logging in. If the wishlist still does not appear, ask them to completely close and reopen the app, then check the Wishlist again.

4. Wishlist Is Different Between Mobile App and Web Store

If the wishlist shown in the mobile app looks different from the wishlist shown on the web store, it’s usually because wishlist sync has not been completed yet, the customer is not logged in with the same account on both platforms, or Separate Mobile Wishlist is enabled.

If Separate Mobile Wishlist is enabled, the mobile app uses its own wishlist instead of sharing the wishlist from your online store. If you want the mobile app and website wishlists to stay synchronized through Growave, make sure this option is turned off.

Otherwise, ask the customer to make sure they are logged in with the same customer account on both the mobile app and the web store.

5. A Product Variant Does Not Look Correctly Saved

If a product variant does not look correctly saved in the wishlist, it’s usually related to how variant information is handled during the wishlist action.

Wishlist actions use product variant information. If a customer wishlists a product without selecting a variant, the first available variant is used by default. To avoid this, ask the customer to select the preferred variant before adding the product to the wishlist.

6. A Removed Wishlist Item Still Appears

If a removed wishlist item still appears in the app or on the web store, wishlist data may need time to sync between the app and Growave.

To fix this, ask the customer to refresh the Wishlist screen, close and reopen the app, and check whether the item is still visible on both mobile and web.

📌 Important Note

Growave Wishlist integration works with a single default wishlist. Multi-list wishlist behavior is not supported in this version.
