Cart Image Banner is a feature that lets you display a promotional or campaign banner directly on your app's cart page, either at the top (header) or bottom (footer) of the screen. This gives you a powerful touchpoint to communicate with your customers at the most critical moment of their shopping journey: just before they complete a purchase.
With the Cart Image Banner feature, you can:
Highlight active campaigns or limited-time discounts to encourage faster decisions
Promote free shipping thresholds or upsell offers at the right moment
Reduce cart abandonment by keeping customers engaged with relevant content
Increase conversion rates by delivering targeted messaging before checkout
Let's go through how the Cart Image Banner will look on your app, and how to activate it in just 3 steps on your dashboard!
How the Cart Image Banner Will Look to Users
Once your banner settings are configured and saved, the image will be displayed on the Cart Page of your mobile app. The banner appears in the position you select, either above the cart items(header) or below them near the checkout button(footer).
How to Enable the Cart Image Banner?
1- Go to the Customization section
In your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design page(1) and then open the Customization section(2).
2- Enable Image Banner
On the Customization page, scroll down, and under the Cart Page (1), you will see the Cart Banner Image section. Switch the toggle to enable it (2).
3 – Configure Your Banner Settings
After enabling the feature, you can configure the following settings to control how your banner appears on the cart screen.
Banner Image: Upload the image you want to display as your cart banner. The recommended image size is 1500 x 400 px for the best visual result across different screen sizes.
Position: Choose where the banner will appear on the cart page:
Top: The banner is displayed above the cart items, at the top of the cart screen. This is ideal for high-visibility campaign announcements.
Bottom: The banner is displayed below the cart items, near the checkout button. This is great for last-minute upsell or free shipping reminders.
Behavior: Choose how the banner behaves as the user scrolls:
Sticky: The banner stays in place and does not scroll with the page content. It remains visible at all times.
Scrollable: The banner scrolls along with the rest of the cart content and may move out of view as the user scrolls.
4 – Save Changes
After completing the configuration, click on Save & Update to make sure that the edits and changes you made reflect on the app.
