Personalization is the key to a high-converting shopping experience. With the Showcase Audience Targeting feature, you have complete control over exactly who sees each element of your app showcase.
By defining specific visibility conditions, you can create tailored experiences for different audiences, such as showing exclusive banners to VIP customers, displaying private collections to wholesale members, or offering special discounts based on customer tags.
By using Showcase Audience Targeting, you can:
Create a personalized shopping experience for different user segments.
Show exclusive offers and members-only content based on Customer Tags.
Display tailored messages using Customer Metafields.
Control content visibility based on Authentication Status (Logged-in vs. Logged-out users).
Increase conversion rates by showing the right content to the right person at the right time.
Now, let's dive into how you can set up Showcase Audience Targeting in your Shopney dashboard!
Steps to set up Showcase Audience Targeting
1- Open the Design Editor
In your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design section and select the element (Image, Slider, etc.) you want to target.
2- Enable the Visibility Switch
In the Edit panel on the right, locate the Visibility toggle and switch it on.
🔔 Reminder
If the Visibility switch is turned off, the element will remain visible to all app users by default.
3- Configure Visibility Conditions
Click the Configure button to open the settings pop-up. Here, you can define your rules by choosing from the supported conditions. Before you set a rule, think about the goal of your banner or element.
Customer Tag: Target users based on labels assigned in your Shopify admin.
Best for: Showing exclusive offers/collections to only specific groups. You can use Shopify Flow to automatically tag customers based on their lifetime spend or order count.
Customer Metafield: Use custom data fields from a customer's Shopify profile to filter visibility.
Best for: Displaying personalized content based on data like a customer’s Birthday Month or Loyalty Status.
Authentication Status: Choose to show the element only to Authenticated (Logged-in) or Unauthenticated (Logged-out) users.
Best for: Showing a Sign Up for 10% Off banner only to users who haven't created an account yet.
After your conditions are set, click Done, and then click Save & Update at the top of your dashboard to push the changes to your live app.
Now you know how to use Showcase Audience Targeting to deliver a personalized shopping experience and manage visibility directly from your Shopney Dashboard!
