Integrating Tolstoy with Shopney is pretty easy with just one click and it works seamlessly. But if you still encounter some issues, you can try out a few of the suggestions seen below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This integration supports only 'Adding feed' and 'Showing on PDP' features of Tolstoy.
1. I can not see my feed in the app
If you’re unable to see your feed in the app, the most common cause is an error in either the App Key or Feed Publish ID. This can happen if the keys are incorrectly copied and pasted into their respective fields. Here’s how to check and resolve this issue:
Verify the App Key: Go back to where the App Key was generated. Carefully copy it, ensuring no extra spaces or characters are included, and paste it into the App Key field in the Shopney Dashboard.
Verify the Feed Publish ID: Similarly, locate the correct Feed Publish ID, copy it precisely, and paste it into the Feed Publish ID field in the Shopify Dashboard.
Save Changes: After pasting both keys, make sure to save your changes to apply the updated information.
These steps should correct any display issues with your feed. If the problem persists, consider regenerating the keys and re-entering them.
2. I can not see my story in the app
If the story isn't appearing on the Product Detail Page (PDP), the issue is likely due to the story not being published or an incorrect Story Publish ID. To fix this:
Locate the Story Publish ID: Go to the Tolstoy Dashboard, select Onsite > All, and open your story’s settings. Copy the Story Publish ID accurately.
Enter the Story Publish ID: Paste this ID into the Story Publish ID field in the Shopney Dashboard, ensuring it’s entered exactly as shown.
Save Changes: After entering the ID, save your changes to activate the story on the PDP.
Following these steps should ensure the story displays correctly on the PDP.
