The customers visiting your physical retail locations can scan the barcode or QR code of any product and pull it up on your mobile app. So, they can learn more about what they're seeing. This will increase sales potential dramatically. The more scanned products means more products purchased.

Let's learn how can you enable this feature on your mobile app. It's pretty easy.

In order to leverage the ''Barcode/QR scanner'' on your mobile app, you should make sure you're already using 'Barcodes' for your products.

If you don't use the barcodes or QR codes for your products yet, you can check this guide to set that up for your Shopify store.

Considering you already have the above fixed, you can follow the steps below.

Navigate to Shopney Design Dashboard > Customization and switch on the toggle in the related section as shown and save changes.

Let's learn how can you enable this feature on your mobile app. It's pretty easy.

Once you enable the feature, there will be a barcode icon appearing next to the search bar on the mobile app as shown below in the first 2 images.

When you tap on the barcode icon, it will activate the 'barcode/qr code scanner' on the mobile app as shown above. You can scan the code to view the product on the mobile app.
