We know how important multi-currency is if you are doing cross-border e-commerce especially.
Therefore, we have built our native multi-currency feature which works perfectly no matter which 3rd party Shopify multi-currency app you use for your web store.
ATTENTION! - If you are using Shopify's multi-currency feature on your store, you cannot activate Shopney Multi-Currency.
If you are ready, let's learn about the activation process of this feature!
Basically, it has 4 steps and each of them is pretty easy to follow.
1. Currency Enablement (Available from GOLD PLAN)
This is where you select the currencies you want your app to support. All you need to do is clicking on the 'Select Currency' bar and select the currencies from the list.
Once you select the currencies you need, you can continue with the next steps.
2. Setting Price Rules (Available from PLATINUM PLAN)
Most of the time currency conversions result in some complex numbers. To avoid prices with too many unnecessary figures, we highly recommend to use this feature. With the rules you set, you can round the prices to simpler figures.
You can start to configure your rules by simply clicking on the 'Add new rule' button on right-hand side. It will open the rule configuration set as shown below.
You need to set a range between two figures as show above (1) and decide the number the prices will be rounded to (2).
If you want you can test your rule with a sample price in the section as shown below.
3. Country Specific Currency (Available from PLATINUM PLAN)
For certain countries that you didn’t enable its currency, you may still want to set another currency.
For example, keeping Japanese Yen unabled and choosing Chinese Yuan as currency to be shown for users in Japan. All you need to do is to select the country and pick the currency you want for it as shown below.
4. Activation Switch
No matter which functions you use, you need to activate them by switching the 'Enable' key at the bottom and save changes. Then you are good to go!
We hope this guide helps.
NOTE: Please note that this integration was built with our partner, and while we do support it, in case any technical issue arises, the wait time might be a bit longer than for a regular support request. Thanks for your understanding!
