Branding for a mobile app is about giving it a unique look and feel, like your logo, colors, and style, so that users instantly recognize it and feel connected to your brand. With Branding, you can add:
Visual consistency across your website and your mobile app
A more polished, professional look and a stronger brand recognition
A cohesive design experience and a unique feel that sets you apart from competitors
Trust and familiarity for your users, along with an emotional connection, can boost customer loyalty
In this article, you’ll find helpful tips for making the most of your branding and a detailed guide to using every tool in the Branding menu of the Shopney Design Editor. As you make changes, you’ll be able to see a live preview on the right-hand side of your dashboard, making it easy to review your design every step of the way.
Let’s walk through each option you can use to implement your branding in your mobile app!
How to Apply your Branding to your Mobile App?
1- Upload your Store Logo
When you navigate to the Branding page of your Shopney Dashboard, the first branding option you’ll see is your Store Logo, which will show up at the top of your app.
When you go to the Design Section (1), and click on the Branding segment at the 3rd row on the left (2), you will see the Store Logo section(3), and when you click on its image, the uploading pop-up will appear, where you can choose and upload your logo.
📌 Important Note
To get the best results, make sure your logo is a PNG (32‑bit), sized 450×90 px, and under 5 MB. The space for your logo is fixed at 64 px high on both iOS and Android, so following these specs will help it fit and look its best. |
2- Choose your Font
Your mobile app's default font is Open Sans. However, here you’ll find a list of 28 other available fonts, and you can try out different styles to see which one works best for your design!
🔍 Available Plans: This feature is available in Platinum Plan and above. |
📌 Important Note
A font change requires an update to be submitted by our team in order to reflect to your live app. Once you’ve selected a new font, please make sure to contact our support team, and we’ll keep you informed once your update for your new font is submitted. |
Besides the default 28 fonts available in the Platinum Plan, you can also add custom fonts to your mobile app. For further information on Custom Fonts, you can check out our article here.

3- Choose your Colors
3.1. Primary Color
Your Primary Color appears on buttons like Add To Cart and the dot navigation. We recommend choosing a vibrant color that draws attention and encourages your customers to click, making key elements stand out.
3.2. Secondary Color
Your Secondary color is for the text inside buttons like Add To Cart and Checkout. It’s best to choose a color that contrasts with your Primary and Cart colors to keep the button text clear and easy to read. White usually works great!
3.3. Chat Color
This color appears in the conversation bubbles and the send button in the in-app messaging section. Feel free to choose a color that you love!
3.4. Cart Color
The Cart Color is used for the buttons throughout the checkout process. Choose a bold, noticeable shade so customers can clearly see the buttons and feel encouraged to complete their purchase.
4- Choose your Icons
Here, you’ll find three sets of icons for the menu, cart, and chat. Feel free to pick your favorite icon for each! These icons will appear at the top of your app: the menu icon on the left, and the chat and cart icons on the right.
