How to enable Delivery Date & Time for your mobile app?

Shopney’s Delivery Date & Time feature lets your customers choose their orders' arrival time on the cart page. This feature helps you improve the delivery experience by giving shoppers more control and clarity over their purchases.

In this article, you’ll learn how to enable and customize Delivery Date & Time in your Shopney Dashboard to make order fulfillment more efficient.

How the Delivery Date & Time will appear in your app

Once you enable the Delivery Date & Time feature for your app, your customers will see a dedicated section on the cart page (1) where they can choose their preferred delivery date and time.

From this section, customers can select the delivery date (2) and time (3) that suit them best, then confirm or remove their selected delivery preference (4) before proceeding to checkout.


Steps to enable the Delivery Date & Time feature

1- Access the Customization section

In your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design section (1) and open the Customization tab (2). Then, scroll down to the Cart Page section, enable the Delivery Date & Time Picker toggle (3), and click Configure(4).

2- Configure Delivery Date & Time settings

On the opened page, you can set the delivery date availability for every day, specific days, or selected dates (1). You can then choose to make the delivery time available 24 hours with the Always option or define custom time slots (2).

Lastly, you can decide if selecting a Delivery Date & Time is mandatory or optional before checkout (3) and click Save to proceed (4).

3- Save the changes

After configuring the Delivery Date & Time settings and saving your changes, you can click Save & Update in your Shopney Dashboard to activate the feature.


How to view the Delivery Date & Time details for orders

Once an order is placed in your app with Delivery Date & Time selected, you can view the details in the Order Details section of your Shopify Admin panel. For more information on tracking orders made from your app, please check the relevant source here.
