Showcase Templates are pre-designed layouts that let you quickly build polished showcases without starting from scratch.
By selecting a template, you can instantly create a ready-to-use display with products and collections already arranged for you. It’s the easiest way to get started fast while making your app look more visually appealing.
Now, let’s walk through how you can use them to set up your app design!
Step-by-step guide to use Showcase Templates
1- Navigate to the Templates Page
In your Shopney Dashboard, go to the Design section(1) first, and click on the Templates tab(2) on the opened Showcase page.
2- Find your template
On the Templates tab, you can explore a variety of template options and select the one that suits your preferences.
On the left side of the Templates tab, you can even filter your Template options by Type (1), Elements (2), and Minimum Elements(3) according to your preferences.
With Type(1), you can filter your template types as either a single showcase or a multiple-tab showcase.
With Elements (2), you can customize your showcase by selecting the showcase elements you want to have included in your template options.
With Minimum Elements(3), you filter the templates with the minimum number of elements of your choosing.
3- Select your Template
Once you’ve chosen the template you’d like to use, simply click on the template and then click on Use Template.
When you select a template and click on Use Template, the new template will be applied to a new draft showcase and will not affect your existing showcase until you set it as live.
4- Customize your Showcase
After choosing a template and applying it to your new draft showcase, you can start customizing your elements on your showcase easily. All you have to do is click on the element(1), configure the element on the right panel(2), and then click on Save & Update(3) to finalize it.
5- Publish your Showcase
After you’ve finalized your showcase, before you publish, you can preview your showcase by clicking on Preview, and then you can either scan the QR code from your mobile device or copy and paste the URL to your mobile device’s browser.
After you preview your showcase and approve the look, to publish your showcase, click on the Publish button(1), choose your publish time(2), click on Next(3), and then click on the Publish button again(4) to complete.
🔎 Available Plan
Publishing and unpublishing Showcases on a different date is available on the Enterprise Plan.
You can even play around with your showcase templates and manage all your saved showcases from the Saved page. You can also edit your chosen showcase from the 3-dot button, where you can change the name or duplicate the entire showcase.
💡Tip
You can keep your ready-made seasonal showcases here in advance to make your work easier, and publish them whenever the time comes (e.g., Christmas, BFCM). |
All done! Now you can use Showcase Templates to kick-start your showcase design and create a beautiful app design even more easily!
